Reality TV brings entertainment to my life, as it does many others.   Some reality shows are for laughter and some can teach you a lesson or show you consequences of certain actions.   But, do we tend to spend too much time watching reality television instead of interacting with others?

I tend to watch a lot of reality TV.  I feel like that is what has me so attached to television.  I love to watch as people make a fool out of themselves.  However, as for having as effect on my life I would have to disagree.  I still am who I am and I do not want to change that.  Reality TV sometimes tricks people into believing that is the way to act or that is how everyone else is acting.  I like to be calm and cool about things and not lose my temper.

Even though I do watch a lot of reality TV, I think we watch too much of it.  We should spend more time educating ourselves or hanging around others.  For some people all they do is watch TV and they tend to not get what they have to do done.

Although, sometimes I wonder how much of reality TV is actually real.  I ask myself, “Do people really act like that when something does not go their way?”  I do feel as some shows are scripted, mainly from what I have heard.  Take Jerry Springer for instance, you know there is a reason when they put out certain items such as food.  I just feel like it is not necessary, but it does bring some entertainment.

I hope that people take the lessons out of the shows instead of all the bad things.
