I believe he linked the video of the young girl with that
of the man committing suicide because our world today finds them amusing. It is almost like you are out of the loop if
you do not watch the videos or videos like these.
He seems to find this ridiculous and disgusting and I would
most definitely have to agree with him.
The fact that people actually do this to their children really disgusts
me. Like, whatever happened to a
childhood and making childhood memories.
That girl will most likely be really prissy and super spoiled when she
becomes a teenager. She will want to be
the best for everything and unfortunately that cannot always happen. Not to mention, she has to live with this and
deal with being “the girl from TLC.” If I
was her, when I grew up I would be completely ashamed of that and what my
mother had taught me was right or fun.
And then there is the fact that her parents have not saved any of the
money for a college fund. How are they
going to afford that?
I think reality TV may make some people apathetic, but
not everyone. Some people are just more
sensitive to certain things or have stronger opinions on certain matters. For example, I think that everyone should get
to be a child at some point and grow up on their own terms or at an appropriate
age. I find that a six year old child
should not wear make-up or shaking her butt in a seductive fashion. In my opinion, (not saying that I am correct
or that this is how it is) this is what leads to teenage pregnancy because at
age six they are acting like they are eighteen. As for the people who actually find this type
of stuff entertaining, reality TV might have made them more apathetic, but
there could also be a bunch more reasons why they think that. Reality TV could just be one small factor out
of a lot that make a difference in something.
